I love my home. You might think that it would be tiring to work mostly from home, but I actually enjoy it (most of the time). I have a three bedroom condo and it serves as my home, my massage studio and my work office. I have thought about moving my studio to an office complex nearby, but the reality is by having my studio in my home, I am able to take appointments when I might not be able to do if I had a studio down the road.
I have been asked about massage clients coming into my home, but I have never had a problem. I don't advertise on Craigslist any longer due to some of the stories that you hear these days. The majority of my clients come from referrals and I was especially fortunate to get a core group of clients when a massage therapist decided to move and recommended me to his client list. That helped a lot as you can imagine.
My goal is three massages a day, but you never know when the calls will come. I try to take one day off a week since I do massages over the weekend, but you know I will give in and take a client who calls on that day off more times than not. But I do try to have that one day to recharge myself.
Working from home is not for everyone, but it works for me. Maybe it is because I do have people coming by and there is social interaction. And in between appointments, I can be naked if I want to be. Guess there are not too many who can say that they are naked at their workplace! LOL!

Well, for me it is only a head cold. But this cartoon was too funny not to use as an image for this post. I am a pretty healthy guy, so I am not sure where this came from. Maybe a massage client? Changes in weather? For whatever reason, I am a little under the weather.
What do you do to feel better when you have a cold?
